Five-Day Extended Rainforest Excursion Tour Day 1: The trip starts from Yarinacocha. Through Rio Ucayali. To Rio Calleria where at the riverbank we will camp in the rainforest. Satellite image Day 2: Observe wildlife in Laguna Chashuya. Sloths Dolphins Iguanas Different bird species Visit to the local native village of pueblo Calleria to see the interesting cultural identity of the native people. Sport fishing (ever tried to catch a Piranha?). Camp will be made at another river bank. Day 3: Includes rainforest walks to see enormous Mangroves (a tree up to 15 meters). At night there will be an excursion to detect possible night hunters like Caimans. Day 4: The opportunity to explore a part of the rainforest in a handmade canoe. A start will be made to return to Yarinacocha. Overnight in a rainforest camp. Day 5: Further return to Yarinacocha with the possibility to spot some more wildlife. (keep your eyes open!) Return time will be between 3-5 in the afternoon. Details: The five-day tour is optional; this means that the standard tour as described before can vary according to your own wishes. If you want to walk more in the rainforest or if you only want to spend three instead of five days in the rainforest, you can arrange this with Gilber, the tour leader, to get the exact tour that you want.
